Friends since childhood in Antwerp, we were both born into the world of diamonds.

Jessica grew up in a family of diamond traders, captivated by the generational stories and the emotional value each piece of jewellery carries. Sidney, whose father and grandfather were both established jewellers, developed an early passion for precious stones. This fascination led her to pursue her GIA certification, graduating in both diamonds and coloured stones.

In 2019, we founded Kimai - a celebration of our heritage reimagined as a modern jewellery brand. Our vision was to create unique high-quality pieces with low impact and full traceability. The majority of our creations are made-to-order just for you, crafted in Antwerp - the diamond capital of the world- in collaboration with trusted goldsmiths, polishers, and setters.
